Back to the 80's and newly appointed manager John Neal talks in Shoot magazine about the massive challenge ahead of him as Chelsea manager.

Back then Chelsea were in Divison Two, so obviously the ultimate goal was promotion. What;s interesting is how its juxtaposed with Howard Kendall at Everton and there are some similarities between their two reigns. Both had their early struggles, came close to losing their jobs but were ultimately successful. 

Neal won promotion as Chelsea manager in 1984 while Kendall won multiple trophies for Everton.
